FSU meteorology grad Marshall Shepherd selected as SEC Professor of the Year for 2022

FSU grad J. Marshall Shepherd (BS, MS, PhD, meteorology) has been selected as SEC Professor of the Year for 2022. Dr. Shepherd is the Georgia Athletic Association Distinguished Professor of Geography and Atmospheric Sciences in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is an American college athletic conference of 14 universities whose member institutions are located primarily in the South Central and Southeastern United States.
