OTT PARSIVEL
The OTT Parsivel 2 is a laser-based optical system for complete and reliable measurement of all types of precipitation. The size range of measurable liquid precipitation particles is from 0.2 … 8 mm, for solid precipitation particles it is from 0.2 … 25 mm. In the process, precipitation particles can have a particle speed (rate of fall) of from 0.2 … 20 m/s.

PA-II-SD
The PA-II-SD is an air quality sensor that measures real-time PM2.5 concentrations for residential, commercial, or industrial use. Built-in WiFi enables the air quality detector to transmit data to the PurpleAir map, where it is stored and made available to any smart device. For locations with limited or noWiFi access, the PA-II-SD PM2.5 measurement detector incorporates an SD card and real-time clock, allowing the sensor to record and store data locally.
Specs
- EOASID = PS0X
- Voltage = 5 VDC : 600mA peak
- Wifi = b,g,n @ 2.4GHz
- Controller = ESP8266
- Memory = 16 GbMicroSD
EOAS SEISMIC WELL
The seismometer was lowered into a 143ft deep well drilled by GFA International and is capable of detecting ground motions from earthquakes as small as magnitude 5 on the other side of the earth (and much smaller earthquakes if they are closer). Earth movements are detected by the seismometer and converted to a digital signal by an external digitizer: the Quanterra Q330HR data logger.
Dr. Joe Steim, Quanterra Incs owner, presented the seismometer and Quanterra Q330HR data
logger to Dr. Hutt as a retirement gift in April 2017.
Data is available through IRIS in the Standard for the Exchange of Earthquake
Data (SEED)
